| I was just sitting here (not writing a paper) and thinking. I realized that i miss my family. not just my mom and dad and brothers. but my whole family. I hardly ever get to see them. most only once a year. Some not that often. My cousin Brandon is over in iraq somwhere near falluja and I hope he makes it back so we can all see him again. I apologize for sounding down, Im not. I just think that you never realize how much you love your family until you are far away from them, and the novelty of independence finaly wears off. Being so far form my family makes me glad that I am at a place like AFA because the friends I have here are like family and I can count on them for anything at anytime....I guess thats all for now.
back to school work | | |
| I just got chastized for not changing this in awhile so here goes. I just got back forma 5 day weekend. Rather than gong home I stayed here in Colorado and spent thanksgiving with friends. It was kinda weird not being home but I guess Ill have to get used to that. I also got to spend time with Jen which is always the bestest (good game). all in all it was a good break.
the weekend before that was the "commandants challange" it was a two day training event here at good ole USAFA. I guess its about time we figured out this was a military school and not a "normal" college. I think it was fairly productive.
anyhow I gots work to do....Lata
| So I guess I am alittle late on updating this...oh well its mine and Ill update it when I damn well please. So west point was a good time, its a pretty cool place looks alot like a castle to me..we won the game (big surprise)
I also got to go to NYC for the first time in my life, even though I am from NY...yeah kinda weird. But I did get to hang out with my friends in manhattan and also go tot meet Jen's parents. that was alota fun, although in hindsight with all the walking that we did cowboy boots was a bad choice of footwear.
now i have next week to deal with then its the "commandants challenge" then thanksgiving leave...can't wait
| ahh...its 2254 and I am heading to west point in the morning and NYC on friday. good stuff. I tell ya bout it when I get back....maybe | | |

I guess people are looking at this thing because you keep asking me about it. So, its like 930 here and I am procrastinating thanks to the good study habits I developed at ACS. this saturday I am traveling to wyoming to play in the bugle corps at a football game then its off to west point next week. I guess thats cool Ill get to see NYC and my old CAP squad, including my little brother. not really too much else exciting going on I suppose. for any of you all wondering I wont be home till mid-december so we can party it up. peace out till later
